Client success story: United Legwear & Apparel Co.

Surviving Hurricane Sandy Without Any Downtime or Loss of Data

Sock Company Takes A Step In The Right Direction

United Legwear & Apparel Co. (ULAC) is a global manufacturer and distributor of socks, tights and underwear. The company has grown to be one of the leading resources in their industry. Formed in 2007, ULAC offers a full range of products for people of all ages, from infants to adults.

Tabush Group Put Its Best Foot Forward

In 2007, ULAC was a newly-formed company with big plans for growth. They were in need of the right IT setup and more importantly, the right IT company to grow with them. Prior to using Tabush Group, ULAC tried using another IT company and immediately experienced a multitude of issues. They parted ways and asked Tabush Group to help.

Upon meeting ULAC, the Tabush Group team determined that they would set up a simple exchange server and file server in both ULAC's New York and New Jersey offices, utilizing standard and easy-to-grow technology. Tabush Group also implemented a solid backup and support solution, and had ULAC up and running in no time.

Fast forward to 2013: Tabush Group has been working with the now 90+ staff member company throughout all aspects of its growth. Tabush Group assisted ULAC with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) selection; system, data center, and cloud services; numerous acquisitions; and three office relocations.

After months of hard work, the job was finally completed, but then in the fall of 2012, Hurricane Sandy tore through the area. Tabush Group saw it coming and was prepared. Due to a proactive switch into Tabush Group's cloud, ULAC was fully functioning during and after the storm.

While their physical offices were shut down in both New York and New Jersey, their entire staff was able to work remotely and conduct business as usual. With Tabush Group's secure data center and both business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ULAC experienced absolutely no downtime or loss of data.
