Windows 7 Reached End of Life - What Now?

On January 14, 2020, Microsoft Windows 7 reached end of life.  What does this mean?  Microsoft is no longer providing technical support, software patches, or security updates for Windows 7.  If your firm is still running on Windows 7, you are probably questioning – what do I do now?  Windows 7 will still work, however, it is strongly recommended to update your systems to the latest software, such as Windows 10, as soon as possible.

Windows 8.1 Release Update: The Restoration of the Beloved “Start” Button


Businesses can rejoice! The START button is back with Windows 8.1.

Are you one of the many Windows users who’ve been missing the “Start” button? Well, on October 18th a tweaked version of Microsoft’s Windows operating system will restore the beloved “Start” button, and update other features. A full retail version of Windows 8.1 will be available and will be offered as a free download to all Windows 8 users. Windows 8.1 will be available worldwide, starting in New Zealand at midnight on October 18th.

Preparing For The End of Windows XP —5 Steps To Take

On April 8th, 2014, Microsoft will officially end all support, security fixes, vulnerability patches and software updates for Windows XP. Any PC running on the operating system after April 2014 will be subject to hacking, cyber-attacks, data and identity theft, and network intrusion; both via individual machines and across internal networks.
